Open letter sent by Apple met with response from MSU community

In a recent letter to Apple users and customers, Apple CEO Tim Cook took a firm stand against a recent request from United States Federal Government. The government, specifically the FBI, has requested Apple conceive and construct the technology permitting authorities to access encrypted data on smartphones.

As the days in East Lansing roll by, the much warmer spring will bless MSU with its presence. But the sign of favorable weather brings a new look all around campus. The bikers of MSU will be back in full storm, populating both the bike paths and paths as they travel quickly and efficiently.

Local police give tips to protect belongings from theft

MSU’s campus is a safe one, MSU police Capt. Doug Monette said, but that doesn’t mean the residence halls and buildings scattered across campus are completely crime free. Student housing in East Lansing is also generally safe, East Lansing Police Department Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth said.
