Previously located in downtown Lansing, the Michigan-based eatery began in 2014 in the Lansing City Market before moving places and has finally reopened next to Michigan State's campus.
“It is a struggle, and it's a huge transition,” Versin said. “But you're not alone. We're not alone. Reach out, get as much help as you can, look for any resources that you can and then just don't get complacent.”
MSU's Sense-Ability ensemble started working on lyrics and music for their musical adaptation of "What if Wilhelmina" by Joseph Belisle. Their production is geared toward neurodiverse students who may struggle in large crowds or events with sensory overload.
The service will be provided seven days a week like before but will be available in a different time period than in past years. Previously, Safe Ride was available between 9 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., but will be offered between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. this semester.
Charles McPherson, an alto saxophonist from Detroit, will wrap up the virtual season of the jazz department's Artist in Residence program. Jazz students, who will also be performing with their prerecorded pieces, are inspired by the artists' stories and heritage.
The task force — formed to address major challenges facing students and underserved communities resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic — joins 38 organizations representing 2.5 million students across the United States, including 501,000 Hispanic or Latino students and 319,000 Black students.

According to GradReports.com, the state of Michigan tends to have lower costs of living, which ultimately results in smaller salaries for alumni who stay in the state graduation. Despite this, 14 Michigan schools had higher salary rates than the national median.
With outdoor gathering restrictions in place, each graduate will be permitted up to two guests with tickets required for entrance.

Volunteers commit to a minimum of four five-hour shifts at a vaccine distribution center. After the fourth shift, they are eligible for the vaccine.
Providers are encouraged to schedule appointments and allocate doses based on highest risk, including older residents, frontline and essential workers, the release states.
They do not need to be established patients to sign up, according to a release.
There are eight weeks left in the semester and Ingham County has continued to see a rise in cases, but the MSU administration and Ingham County Health Department are working to control the spread.
