University of Toronto professor Lambert Zuidervaart held his “Best Defense ...: Rescuing Scientific Truth from Authoritarian Attacks and Academic Neglect" lecture in a South Kedzie Hall classroom on Friday. The lecture draws from the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle core tenets of the higher education model by cutting federal funding for university-based research programs and entering into lawsuits against Harvard University and Columbia University.
