In summer, campus is like a ghost town. Many students go off to internships, study abroad or go home, if they don't live close to campus.For international students, going home is not always ideal. MSU isn’t only interested in the GPAs of the student body, retention — students completing a degree — is important, too. “It was decided (to remodel the house) a couple years ago,” Nemesi said. “We were coming up on the 50th anniversary of the house, it was built in 1963, and we started talking about the fundraising and all that type of stuff, and figured if we remodeled it right, it would be able to go the next 50 years.”
