Snyder won't appeal decision to recognize same-sex couples married during window
Gov. Rick Snyder will not appeal the U.S. District Court of Appeals decision of recognizing the validity of the same-sex couples who got married in March of 2014. “The judge has determined that same-sex couples were legally married on that day, and we will follow the law and extend state marriage benefits to those couples," Snyder said in a press release sent on Wednesday.
