Snyder won't appeal decision to recognize same-sex couples married during window

Gov. Rick Snyder will not appeal the U.S. District Court of Appeals decision of recognizing the validity of the same-sex couples who got married in March of 2014.    “The judge has determined that same-sex couples were legally married on that day, and we will follow the law and extend state marriage benefits to those couples," Snyder said in a press release sent on Wednesday.  In the press release, Snyder recognized how controversial same-sex marriage has been in Michigan — the U.S.

Latest Bias Busters class publication focuses on Muslim Americans

Students begin by speaking to members of that specific faith or group and ask them what kinds of questions they feel should be answered. When passes are purchased on campus at Sparty’s, the police department, or the MSU ID Office the student must present an MSU ID to confirm enrollment in the university and the ID will then be linked to the pass. A new policy that has been implemented provides students with a free replacement pass if the pass is reported lost or stolen.
