Grant allows study of law enforcement

Local theater presents play for Charlie

An audience of several dozen watched young actors perform “Charlie and the Hump Sisters,” a play about Charlie, an avid animal-lover, and his 7-year-old sister Esther Waller’s adventure searching for camels at the zoo, Saturday and Sunday at the Mid Michigan Family Theatre, 440 Frandor Ave., in Lansing.

CATA launches fifth annual Clean Commute Challenge

Today, Capital Area Transportation Authority launched its fifth annual “Clean Commute Challenge. The state-wide challenge, which ends Sept. 23, seeks to promote clean transportation, such as biking or taking the bus, Clean Commute Options Coordinator Cathleen Edgerly said.

Master plan changes campus parking

Campus might see a change in parking in the future if a revamped version of the Campus Master Plan is passed by the Board of Trustees. The Campus Master Plan is an initiative that has guided MSU construction and expansion for about the past 10 years.

Farmer's market caters to students

The East Lansing Farmer’s Market will hold its annual Spartan Appreciation Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Valley Court Park, 201 Hillside Court. The first 75 MSU students to visit the market information booth will receive a $2 gift certificate, applicable toward any vender booth.
