Spartan Stadium might receive $2M face-lift in April

The MSU Board of Trustees will vote today to authorize $2 million in repairs to Spartan Stadium to begin construction this April. “If it’s broken, you have to fix it,” said Rick Atkinson, assistant athletics director for facilities and event management.

Winter carnival to benefit shelter

When Mike Prelesnik and other members of the Ingham County Fair Board decided to host a winter carnival on the fairgrounds, they wanted proceeds from the event to go to charity. The board settled on Capital Area Child & Family Services’ Angel House, an emergency shelter for children in Mason.
