Cara Nader said she’s been making coffee professionally since she was 18. Now, she runs a third-wave coffee shop in Lansing, specializing in bringing “high-quality coffee to the residents, students, and tourists of Lansing Michigan," she said.

Counseling staff size varies in the Big Ten

Differences in the staffs of the Big Ten’s counseling centers often boil down to the needs and budget of the centers, some Big Ten mental health service providers and administrators said. “Some of it comes down to some states being really conservative in how they give money,” University of Nebraska Counseling and Psychological Services Center outreach coordinator Charlie Foster said.

Fraternity hosts fundraiser with puppies at The Rock on Farm Lane

Spread across the grass near The Rock on Farm Lane, students could be seen playing with 6-week-old puppies, and donating to a good cause in doing so.   On Friday, Pi Kappa Phi fraternity hosted a fundraiser called "The Puppy Experience." The fraternity charged $3 for five minutes and $5 for ten minutes with the puppies. Money raised will go to the fraternity's national philanthropy, The Ability Experience. The philanthropy works to support people with disabilities.

MSU Paintball Club heads to national tournament

The MSU Paintball Club will join over 50 other teams in Kissimmee, Florida, for the National Collegiate Paintball Association (NCPA) annual championship tournament from April 15 to 17. The MSU Paintball Club will travel with 11 players, six more than made the trip to last year’s tournament.
