Park District demolition deadline extended, Convexity to redesign plans

The East Lansing City Council voted to once again extend the deadline to demolish the blighted Park District buildings, this time until the end of April. However, this extension came in light of a new revelation: DRW Holdings and developer Convexity Properties will be completely redesigning the Park District project, attorney David Pierson told council during the meeting.

Letter: In response to ASMSU president's letter on MSU sexual assault policy

I was surprised to read Mr. Santavicca’s letter to the editor Jan. 24 regarding the revisions of MSU’s sexual assault policy and adjudication procedures and learn that ASMSU believes MSU’s efforts to “prevent and adjudicate allegations of sexual assault” have not served the campus community and that ASMSU believes MSU has not improved in these areas.

MSU women's basketball wins second straight over the Golden Gophers

MSU women’s basketball, 15-7, 5-4 Big Ten, played University of Minnesota, 11-11, 2-7 Big Ten, on the road. The Spartans started off strong in the first quarter, but at the end of the first half Minnesota tied things up. Under interim head coach Amaka Agugua the Spartans clinched their second straight win in a row.
