A resolution urging university officials and police to avoid surveillance of student organizations will be proposed Friday at the MSU Board of Trustees meeting. The resolution, created by board Chairperson Colleen McNamara, says undercover surveillance of student organizations should occur only in extraordinary circumstances and should not be a part of normal police operations.
