Supporters give couple hand in move

Couple is right to take serious action

Carolyn 0'Laughlin and Rebecca Linz seem to have received rotten treatment by MSU in that 0'Laughlin must choose between her job and her personal life ("Hall director resigns over lack of same sex benefits," SN 3/18). If I were in this couple, I would run - not walk - to the nearest reputable civil rights attorney or organization and file a lawsuit as soon as possible.

BYRON: Escape from news of war with a trip to the theater

No one likes war. When I come home at night and flip on my television I'm bombarded by people analyzing what could happen in Iraq, why President Bush is or is not an idiot, why more time should have been given and just how much of a tyrant Saddam Hussein is. I'm surprised the networks haven't come up with a reality television series about it. Something like "Who Wants to Marry a Dictator?" probably would have done well on the networks.
