Minority apps fall at U-M
Less than one year after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against the University of Michigan's use of race in its undergraduate admissions process, the school has reported a decline in applications from minorities. According to information released Monday by U-M, the number of applications received from blacks, Chicanos, Latinos and American Indians is down by 23 percent.
