Michigan wins, 45-37, in triple-overtime finish
Ann Arbor - In a triple-overtime thriller against rival Michigan that will be remembered for years, MSU lost a 17-point fourth quarter lead, its starting quarterback for at least two weeks and, eventually, the game itself. "That's the greatest game I've ever played in my whole life," U-M safety Ernest Shazor said, standing on the Michigan Stadium turf surrounded by a frenzy of fans, band members, players and reporters. The Spartans (4-4 overall, 3-2 Big Ten) and Wolverines matched each other point-for-point in the first two overtimes.
