Matthew Forbes earns Big Ten Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

Michigan State sophomore Matthew Forbes earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors after clinching a historic upset over No. 1 Ohio State men's tennis and showcasing composure in an 11–9 tiebreak against Penn State men's tennis. He is now also ranked No. 11 nationally, solidifying his role as a key contributor this season.

Six MSU hockey members received Big Ten postseason honors

Michigan State hockey had six players earn Big Ten postseason honors, led by four First Team selections and major awards for Trey Augustine (Goaltender of the Year) and Matt Basgall (Defensive Player of the Year). Head coach Adam Nightingale was also named Coach of the Year, highlighting another standout season for the Spartans.

The MSU Plant Biology Teaching Conservatory and Greenhouse is a facility designed to showcase a wide botanical collection to the general public for free. Yet, few students know about the evolution room, the desert-like arid room, and the tropical room within the conservatory’s walls.

MSU gymnastics celebrate seniors in win over Brown

On Senior Day at Jenison Field House, Michigan State gymnastics honored its seniors with tears, cheers and memorable performances. This included Nikki Smith’s perfect 10 on the floor. The Spartans won against Brown 197.500 to 194.650. However, the key moment of the day was the heartfelt farewell for Olivia Zsarmani, Smith, Stephanie Lebster, Sage Kellerman and Naya Howard.
