MSU instructors navigate return to Berkey Hall despite lack of administrative guidance

Since the Jan. 8 reopening of Berkey Hall, one of the sites of the February mass shooting that killed three people and injured five at Michigan State University, students enrolled in classes in the building have had varying levels of comfort, with some requesting accommodations. The university has largely passed off that responsibility to the individual instructors of the classes.

MSU issued nearly 100,000 parking tickets in 2023

MSU’s Department of Police and Public safety– or MSUDPS– issued 97,585 parking citations in 2023, bringing in $1,375,686,62 to the university. The MSU Board of Trustees approved to raise parking violation fines early this summer yet this did not deter students from committing violations.

MSU Wharton Center holds 'Mamma Mia!' College Night, connects students in celebration of theater

On Thursday, Wharton Center Student Marketing Organization put on "Mammia Mia!" College Night, their last college night of the year. The event took place above the Grand Cobb Theatre before the showing of Broadway’s "Mammia Mia!". Students in attendance were able to help themselves to food and drinks, and even hear from the show’s cast members in a Q&A segment.
