Preview: MSU women's basketball returns to the Breslin to play Boilermakers in first of back-to-back home games

The Michigan State women’s basketball team has once again found itself trying to come back from behind in the conference standings after dropping a Big Ten game to the Golder Gophers in Minneapolis. Lucky for the Spartans, the team finally gets a break from its “hectic” schedule and will return to East Lansing and have two home games this week. Michigan State will first play the Purdue Boilermakers on Wednesday, Jan. 24.

A common mindset for the New Year is thinking of it as a time for reinvention, self-improvement and setting new standards to hold yourself to for the next 365 days. Many Michigan State University students, however, may be taking a more easy-going, self care-focused approach to 2024 to help them stick to their goals in the long-run.

Union of Tenure Stream Faculty skeptical of delays in unionization process, profile of law firm representing MSU

The Union of Tenure Stream Faculty, or UTSF, first launched its campaign on Nov. 1 in hopes of giving professors more power in administrative decision making. Now, having requested formal recognition from MSU’s Board of Trustees after gaining the majority support needed among tenure-track faculty, UTSF is awaiting the finalization of the negotiations.
