Rock the block, just don’t stalk the block

MSU Live On's Rock the Block is taking place at the Breslin Center on March 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for first year students reserving dorms in groups for next semester. While there are students that may be looking to camp out in preparation for the event, groups are discouraged from waiting before their designated registration time window.

LIFE

Room assignments and reputations: Where the MSU majors call home

The living environment for many first-year students can shape their whole college experience and Michigan State’s campus is no exception. MSU fund a temporary lifeline for researchers, graduate students

Michigan State University has offered support to researchers who have had federal funding slashed via a $5 million pool of funding for MSU researchers to take advantage of. So far, the Jenison Fund has awarded financial support to 64 recipients. The support has allowed MSU faculty and graduate students to continue their research and support their work while they pursue alternative means to fund research.

His performance moved him to 41 points and 20 goals on the season. He now ranks ninth in points and fourth in goals in the history of MSU freshmen.

In East Lansing, students are pressured to sign leases remarkably early, often in the fall for the following academic year. Because there are so many unknowns in the average college student’s life at that point, this leads to broken leases, money lost and damaged friendships. This practice is detrimental to students and their relationships.

4,566 miles from home, Sambolić finds her fit at MSU

Slovenia native Sara Sambolić stepped into the starting lineup for just the second time in her career Wednesday, delivering a composed 13-point, six-assist performance in MSU's 104-68 win over Northwestern. The junior guard, who earned her spot at Michigan State after a standout showing in the U20 European Championship, is living proof that Robyn Fralick's program welcomes talent from anywhere in the world — even 4,566 miles away.
