MSU ordinance violations and larceny were both reported multiple times last week.
The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety disclosed the incidents under the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, which requires universities to publicly list reported criminal offenses and is subject to change as events are reported.
Incidents are distinguished by the date they were reported in crime blotter reports. This week's reported incidents may include incidents from days prior.
Saturday 6/20
Obstructing justice occurred near 936 South Waverly Road around 1:15 a.m. MSU DPPS reported that this resulted in the subject being issued a “Failure to Appear” warrant.
Around 3:30 p.m., an individual was cited for operating a vehicle with no proof of insurance near Michigan Avenue and Highland Avenue.
Around 4 p.m., an individual was cited for operating a vehicle with no proof of registration or insurance near Shaw Lane and Hagadorn Road.
An MSU ordinance violation of disrupting campus or building activities at the Broad Art Museum occurred around 5 p.m. MSU DPPS reported that this resulted in the subject being issued a trespass notice and a Violation of University Ordinance 15.03.
