"Six Degrees of Separation," running this weekend at Lansing Community College, shows the warm-blooded side to the upper crust with compelling characters and an inventive tale. The play is based on a true story of a con man who enters New York society pretending to be actor Sydney Poitier's son. In "Six Degrees of Separation," con man Paul dupes several families with a fake story and knowledge of their children, who are at prestigious universities.
