MSU football player Mitchell White pleaded guilty to charges stemming from an off-campus brawl in October at a pretrial hearing Wednesday at East Lansing’s 54-B District Court. White, a freshman walk-on receiver, originally pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Dec. 23, 2008. White is set to be sentenced March 16, according to court documents.
ASMSU’s Academic Assembly voted down a bill Tuesday to state its stance on a course repeat policy. The bill would require the assembly to state ASMSU’s stance to the University Committee on Academic Policy, or UCAP.
MSU’s financial future, the academic calendar and the Outside Speakers Policy were among many items discussed during Tuesday’s meeting of MSU’s Executive Committee of Academic Council.
