Commuters cope with recent spike in area gas prices

At almost $4.00 per gallon of regular fuel, some motorists in East Lansing are finding themselves using other means of transport to get where they need to go. Gas prices have been steadily climbing in East Lansing during the last month, rising from an average $3.63 to an average $3.90, according to GasBuddy.com.

Cultivator of MSU Voice Library, Maurice Crane, dies at 87

In 1953, Crane came to MSU where he taught humanities. After G. Robert Vincent retired, Crane took over as the new head of MSU’s Voice Library in 1974.The Voice Library is the largest academic voice library in the nation and is home to different sound material such as speeches, interviews, lectures and performances.
