These avant-garde designs were created by apparel and textile design seniors Katie Raynard and Anami Chan , who got to work alongside survivors of sexual assault to create clothing unlike any other. Last semester, Raynard and Chan had a class together, which is where they discovered they were both passionate about social justice issues. Soon after, Raynard invited Chan to be a part of Fashion for the Fire . Raynard had been working on the show since last spring.
April is National Poetry Month, and there are plenty of events around campus for those who want to be involved.
