Take Back the Night met with indifference after tumultuous year

It’s worth saying that the weather wasn’t great. And this year’s march didn’t have the draw of a speaker like MSU alumna and sexual assault survivor Gretchen Whitmer — who spoke last year — for clout, but it still seemed like the fervor that had once been felt for the issue was fading from MSU.

Routine red water inconvenient but safe

The coming of spring means warm weather, increased rainfall and at MSU — red water. Every spring, Infrastructure Planning and Facilities performs routine maintenance which involves flushing any solids out of the piping system.

Completing the cycle

It's a continuous cycle. The Student Organic Farm plants crops that are harvested for the MSU dining halls. Then the waste from those meals is composted and used as fertilizer for the next batch of crops.
