Photos released from the morning of March 12 around 4 a.m. reveal images of a suspect in a shots fired situation, located near Albert Street and MAC Avenue.
In a Facebook post, the East Lansing Police Department, or ELPD, announced it is is searching for the person seen on surveillance footage. The suspect is a Black male wearing a purple sweatshirt with white lettering on the back and front, black pants and white shoes pointing a handgun at the camera.

Two 9 mm shell casings were found near the scene of the incident.
The police also released images of two Black women walking near the scene, though their ties to the situation were not specified.
