Lansing Community College is suspending college operations immediately, which will continue until March 17.
The suspension of college operations occurred in response to a potential cybersecurity incident, according to LCC Public Relations Director Marilyn Twine.
Twine said the decision to suspend college operations emerged out of an abundance of caution to determine the nature and scope of the potential incident and determine next steps.
During the suspension, LCC is disconnecting the college from the network and internet.
The college is working to investigate the potential incident as quickly as possible, Twine said.
Twine said the college will provide more details as it becomes available.
