Michigan State is set to play Maryland in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. MSU secured seventh place in the regular season Big Ten standings after beating the Terrapins in the final game of the regular season. They will play Maryland, the 10 seed, again Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m in the second round after both teams earned a bye.

Michigan State was knocked out of the Big Ten Tournament by Maryland last season in the second round. The Big Ten tournament is set to take place from March 9-13 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. 

MSU is 2-0 against Maryland so far this year with both wins coming by a combined 12 points.
