East Lansing City Council to hold virtual meeting

The East Lansing City Council will meet electronically this Thursday, April 30 at 9 a.m, according to a city press release.

Residents may participate in public comment by emailing City Council prior to the meeting at council@cityofeastlansing.com or have the option to provide comment over the phone by calling (312) 626-6799 with the following ID number: 968-5834-3571, according to the release.

The meeting will be broadcast on the city of East Lansing website and on channel 22. The video will be posted to the city's website following the meeting, according to the press release.

This follows Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's  executive order allowing for electronic meetings and public participation.
