Ingham County Prosecutors dismissed the reported sexual assault at the Phi Gamma Delta, or FIJI, fraternity house.

The sexual assault was reported on Saturday, Sept. 28th, during homecoming weekend at Michigan State, according to ELPD Deputy Chief Steve Gonzalez.

In response, the suspected member was suspended, according to a statement by a Phi Gamma Delta spokesperson.

The East Lansing Police Department concluded their investigation into the reported sexual assault last week, said Gonzalez. ELPD then turned the case over to the Ingham County Prosecutor's office.

"That case was reviewed and denied for prosecution by the county prosecutor's office," Scott Hughes, the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office, said.

Prosecutors have reviewed the report and dismissed it, meaning they will take no further action.
