Freshman linebacker Darien Tipps-Clemon announced on Twitter Monday he will be transferring from MSU.

The former three-star recruit did not play a game for the Spartans in his lone year in East Lansing.

Tipps-Clemons is the sixth player to transfer from MSU this offseason with the first five being redshirt freshman Messiah deWeaver, freshman wide receiver Hunter Rison, sophomore wide receiver Trishton Jackson, freshman defensive end Lashawn Paulino-Bell and junior running back Madre London.

The Spartans will back in action in the annual Green-White spring game at 5 p.m. on April 7.
