Former MSU quarterback Messiah deWeaver announced on Twitter Monday afternoon he's transferring from MSU to East Mississippi Community College. The announcement comes 10 days after deWeaver made public he's transferring from the Spartan football program.

The redshirt freshman has two games under his belt, both on the road against Ohio State on Nov. 11 and Rutgers on Nov. 25. DeWeaver didn't throw any official passes in his Spartan career and only rushed four times for -1 yards.

East Mississippi Community College went 11-1 in the 2017 season, and was featured in the first two seasons of the Netflix show, "Last Chance U."
