The Spartan Support Network was created in 2017 by students of MSU. The organization, which follows the blueprint of the University of Michigan's Wolverine Support Network, is an organization that seeks to address and promote mental health and well-being through weekly peer-facilitated support groups and bi-weekly social events.

Spartan Support Network does not provide professional support for members of the LGBTQ community, those who have been sexually assaulted and those who struggle with drug addiction.
