On April 28, 2016, offensive lineman Jack Conklin walked on a stage in front of thousands of fans and donned a Tennessee Titans hat as the former Spartan was selected eighth overall in the 2016 NFL draft.

On Friday, the Titans rookie from Plainwell, Mich. made the Associated Press 2016 NFL All-Pro Team after a solid rookie campaign.

As a Spartan, Conklin — initially a walk-on — was a three-year starter at left tackle, starting in 38 of his 39 career games.

He left East Lansing with more than 235 career knockdowns, forgoing his senior season to declare for the NFL Draft.

Conklin joins several other players who made the all-pro team including Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.
