Gov. Mike Pence (R-Ind.), the Republican vice presidential candidate, will hold a rally Friday at AVFlight Lansing. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the event will begin at 10 a.m., according to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign website.

Pence’s visit to Lansing follows an appearance made Thursday in Portage, Mich., and is the latest in a series of Michigan stops by surrogates of Trump this week. Donald Trump Jr. was the most recent surrogate to visit the Lansing area, stumping on behalf of his father at MSU Wednesday.

“We’re just excited to see so many top-level Republican surrogates coming to the state of Michigan, because Michigan is in play this year,” MSU College Republicans Chair Jeff Litten said. “It’s voted Democratic for the last six presidential elections, but this year people are finally seeing what Democratic policies are doing to our state and to our country, and they want to see a change.”

Those interested may register for tickets to the event here.
