MSU men's basketball coach Tom Izzo announced forward Ben Carter will officially join the Spartan program for the upcoming 2016-17 season as a graduate transfer, according to a statement sent out Tuesday afternoon.
UNLV forward Ben Carter announced Wednesday his intentions to transfer to MSU and join the 2016-17 Spartans basketball team with immediate eligibility.
For those who have been waiting for my announcement. I'll be heading to Michigan state next season to finish my college career.

Carter, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound Las Vegas native, will be a graduate-transfer student next year. This past season, Carter averaged 8.6 points and six rebounds for the Rebels, who finished 18-15.
MSU still has two available scholarships for the upcoming season. And according to ESPN, 525 players have interest in transferring schools, with a majority still undecided on where they'll end up.
