MSU police are asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for thefts from a donation box at the MSU Museum. A 43-year-old employee reported the incident on Nov. 4. Officers were dispatched to the location and total value stolen is $10, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Terrill at 517-432-1596 or email terrillj@msu.edu. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Facebook or text MSUPD to CRIMES (274637) along with the tip.

Here are the other police incidents for Nov. 6.

Malicious destruction of property

An unknown suspect caused $200 in damage to a third floor study lounge window in West Holden Hall, reported on Nov. 3. The window frame itself was bent and the screen had tears in it. There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation.

Harassing communications

On Nov. 2 at 12 a.m. at East Wilson Hall, an 18-year-old female student received a threatening text message from her former roommate, also 18. The two had a disagreement which upset the suspect, who sent a text message. Police made contact with her, who admitted to sending it.
