Here are the top stories for the week of Oct. 23.
Week in Review: Oct. 23, 2015
When redshirt-freshman defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson envisioned his first play-making performance as a Spartan, he did not foresee a 38-yard muffed punt return to defeat rival University of Michigan as time expired.
After scoring the game-winning touchdown, Watts-Jackson suffered a season-ending hip injury.
But through it all, Watts-Jackson said at a press conference on Wednesday he would do it all again if it meant a win for the Spartans.
“It was a lot," Watts-Jackson said. "But like I said, if I had to do it all over again, I definitely would."
After a small party involving alcohol, 10 Akers Hall Residence Assistants have been terminated and forced to move off-campus, prompting outrage and complaints from those reprimanded, who claim they were not given fair due process under RA governance laws.
One of those involved said six of the RAs attempted to appeal the termination decision, which halted their access to dining halls and gave them a limited amount of time to find other housing arrangements.
Those are your top stories for the week, and have a great weekend Spartans!
