MSU defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson was the hero of MSU's miraculous 27-23 victory against in-state rival Michigan Saturday night. Watts-Jackson scooped up a muffed punt and returned it all the way to the house for a game-winning 38-yard score.

However, at the tail end of the play, Watts-Jackson suffered a hip injury and was rushed to the hospital directly after the game.

According to a tweet by Watts-Jackson's sister, he had surgery in the morning and will miss the rest of the season.
