Former MSU guard Travis Trice has signed a partially-guaranteed one-year deal with the New York Knicks, Yahoo reported on Thursday.

Trice, who went undrafted in June before signing with the Miami Heat's summer league team in Orlando, Fla, gained attention from the league after emerging as the driving force behind MSU's surprise Final Four run in the 2014-15 season.

Trice played four seasons at MSU, appearing in 134 games and accounting for 1,135 points and 387 assists. He averaged 15.3 points and 5.1 assists per game his senior season.

The Knicks's roster currently has three point guards — veteran Jose Calderon, Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant.

Further details of Trice's deal were not disclosed.
