Former MSU employee charged with theft of copper from buildings

A former MSU temporary employee has been charged with embezzlement and theft for stealing more than $20,000 in copper and other metals from campus buildings, according to an MSU police statement.

Jeffrey James Pollock faces five felony charges: one count of embezzlement of $20,000 to $50,000 and four counts of larceny.

The 33-year-old DeWitt resident no longer works at the university. His pretrial appearance is slated for March 6 at the East Lansing 54B District Court.
