MSU's rankings in both the coaches and AP poll remain the same after their 35-11 win Saturday against Michigan on Saturday. MSU is No. 8 in the AP poll and No. 5 in the coaches poll.

After losing to LSU, Ole Miss dropped to No. 7 but MSU was not able to jump them in the A.P. Poll. The top five of that poll changed a little bit, with Mississippi State staying at the top spot followed by Florida State, Alabama, Auburn and Oregon rounding out the top five.

In the coaches poll, MSU was jumped by Auburn who moved to No. 4.

The first rankings from the College Football Playoff committee is on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
