Sparty will be competing in the Capital One Mascot Challenge again this year.

The Capital One Mascot challenge is a contest where fans vote for their favorite mascot. The winning school will get a $20,000 scholarship toward its mascot program.

Every week, each school's mascot competes in a head to head matchup with another school. There are also different challenges each week to earn more points for your mascot.

The contest is in week five and Sparty has yet to score a victory. However, Sparty is currently winning his matchup against University of Minnesota's Goldy Gopher.

Sparty has yet to win the mascot challenge, but fans can vote for Sparty on a weekly basis at capitalonemascots.com.
