Ricard Walter Taylor was arraigned on multiple charges Wednesday afternoon in 54-B district court in East Lansing.

The suspect in Monday's shootings, one at a Lansing Rite Aid and one on Coolidge Road, is charged with two counts of open murder and multiple gun charges during his arraignment on Wednesday, Ingham County officials announced in a press conference.

He will face a total of seven felony charges. Judge Andrea Larkin denied Taylor bail.

The victim's names were previously announced in a press release on Tuesday. Michael Addo, a 35-year-old Mason resident, was the Rite Aid employee killed on Monday. East Lansing resident Jordan Rogers, 27, was shot on Coolidge Road shortly after, and later pronounced dead.

Police said the shootings are not believed to have been part of a robbery attempt.
