On Friday, the Residential Initiative on the Study of the Environment, or RISE, held its first cooking workshop of fall semester in the Bailey Hall community kitchen.

Held once per month, RISE holds the cooking workshops to promote food awareness and build cooking skills.

The menu included basil lemonade, crackers, flatbread, a red salsa, pesto sauce and farmer’s cheese. All the recipes incorporated herbs grown in the Bailey GREENhouse.
