DeWitt resident arraigned on home invasion warrant

East Lansing police have arrested a suspect in a string of home invasions between Jan. 11-17, according to an East Lansing press release.

Zachary Jacob Vaughn, a 24-year-old DeWitt, Mich. resident, has been arraigned on three felony home invasion warrants and has five more pending felony home invasion charges, according to the release.

He has one pending felony charge for receiving and concealing stolen property in Eaton County, the release said.

Vaughn was apprehended following a short foot chase after police received a call for a home invasion in progress at 3 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 900 block of Roxburgh Avenue, according to the release.

Vaughn likely will be arraigned soon on the currently pending charges, the release said.
