Trans-Siberian Orchestra, or TSO, is pairing up with Hallmark Channel to take its multi-platinum rock opera, “The Lost Christmas Eve,” to 65 cities across North America.
At 8 p.m. on Nov. 16, TSO will bring the “story of loss and redemption” to Breslin Center.
Tickets for the show range from $30 to $62 and can be purchased at the Auto-Owners Box Office at Wharton Center.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra first debuted in 1996 when founder Paul O’Neill made a decision to revive the rock-opera genre for a new generation. With more than 30 band members, TSO unites composers and musicians alike with the common goal to create music with a strong emotional impact. It is best known for its songs “Christmas Nights in Blue” and “Siberian Sleigh Ride” and has released seven albums, one box set and one DVD.
“The Lost Christmas Eve” is set on an enchanted Christmas Eve in New York City as the city’s citizens’ lives intertwine in a rundown hotel, an old toy store, a Gothic cathedral and more.
Following the show, TSO will perform new songs from its fall EP release, including “Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night),” and its debut album, “Christmas Eve & Other Stories.”
