A 21-year-old female student reported some contents of her backpack were stolen March 27 between 1 and 1:30 p.m. from Anthony Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Talyor said.
The student said she forgot her backpack on the second floor and could not find it upon her return, McGlothian-Taylor said.
A professor later found the pink backpack, valued at $50, outside of another room on a different floor.
About $20 cash was missing from the backpack after it was found.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
