Woman reports gas stolen from truck

A 50-year-old woman reported her gas was stolen out of her gas tank between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. March 9 in the parking lot south of the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The woman’s gas was siphoned out of the gas tank of her 2003 Ford F-250 while she was attending an event at the Pavilion, McGlothian-Taylor said.

She had no university affiliation.

The gas was valued at about $59 and was a full tank at the time of the alleged theft.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
