Bike reported stolen from Akers Hall

March 14, 2012

A 19-year-old female student reported her bicycle was stolen between 8 p.m. Feb. 24 and 6 p.m. March 11 from a bike room in Akers Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bicycle had been left in the bike room during the winter season and was reported missing after the student did not find it upon her return, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bicycle was a purple and silver Magna Great Divide and was valued at $125.

It was locked through its front wheel, but was not attached to anything else in the room.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
