Student reports wallet stolen

February 29, 2012

A 20-year-old female student reported her wallet was stolen at about 2:45 p.m. Feb. 27 from the Sparty’s Convenience Store in the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student said she left her wallet on the countertop in the store while purchasing items and could not find the wallet when she returned to retrieve it, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The wallet was not turned in to staff at Sparty’s.

The wallet was new and valued at $50. It contained credit cards, a driver’s license and $1 cash.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
