A 22-year-old female student employee reported she was assaulted around 5 p.m. Feb. 7 on the second floor of the Main Library, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee was working at the library when two patrons complained that a 22-year-old Lansing man was harassing people on the second floor, McGlothian-Taylor said.
After contacting police, the employee made contact with the man, who became upset and began yelling obscenities at her. The victim reported being pushed by the man during the exchange.
Police escorted him out of the building, and an investigation is pending. No arrests have yet been made.
